US data center firm Vantage names Malaysia managing director
Vantage Data Centers has appointed Fitri Abdullah as country managing director for Malaysia, a newly created position aimed at expanding its operations in the country.
Abdullah, with more than 30 years of experience in the technology and communications sectors, previously served as managing director of Oracle Malaysia for nine years.
He has also held leadership roles at Mesiniaga Berhad and Maxis Berhad.
Abdullah will lead Vantage’s strategies in Malaysia and report to Jeremy Deutsch, the APAC region’s president.
The company’s Malaysian portfolio includes three hyperscale data center campuses in Kuala Lumpur and Johor, with ongoing expansion plans.
Vantage Data Centers is a global provider of hyperscale data centers, operating in North America, EMEA, and Asia Pacific, serving major AI and cloud companies.
