The United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced that Caroline D. Pham is the new acting chairman, effective Jan. 20.

Pham has served as a CFTC commissioner since April 2022, with her term set to expire in April 2027.

She replaces Rostin Behnam, who has served as Chairman since Jan. 4, 2022.

Behnam will remain a commissioner until his departure on Feb. 7, 2025.
