US-based AI experiential learning platform bags $40m series B

Yoodli, a Seattle-based AI-powered experiential learning platform, has raised US$40 million in a series B round led by WestBridge Capital, with participation from Neotribe and Madrona.

This brings the company’s total funding to nearly US$60 million since its founding in 2021.

Yoodli uses AI to provide roleplay simulations for communication training, offering immediate feedback for scenarios such as sales calls and leadership coaching. The company counts enterprises like Google and Snowflake among its clients.

It will use the new funding to boost investment in AI coaching, analytics, and personalization, and to expand its teams and global reach.

🧠 Food for thought

Implications, context, and why it matters.

Yoodli’s $40M round lacks public traction data

  • The Series B announcement leaves out Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), paid enterprise counts, user retention, and year over year growth since the Series A 1. In 2023, revenue hit $7.5M with 57 employees 2. No 2024-2025 updates appear, even after total funding neared $60M 1.
  • Case studies name Google Cloud with 15,000+ employees using the tool and Snowflake saving 1,200+ manager coaching hours each quarter. They do not spell out revenue, contract size, or expansion rate 3. A six month gap between the A and B looks short, which could signal rapid growth or pre-negotiated tranches (staged funding releases) 4.

Third-party integrators can build connectors as Yoodli scales globally

  • Current support covers SCORM 1.2 (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) and LTI 1.1/1.3 (Learning Tools Interoperability). It also connects to Workday HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and supports SSO via SAML 2.0 (Security Assertion Markup Language) or OIDC (OpenID Connect). Docs list Docebo and Moodle, plus CSV (comma-separated values) uploads. No native CRM (Customer Relationship Management) links appear for Salesforce or HubSpot, and Gong sits in a separate guide 5678.
  • Global expansion opens work for third-party integration specialists and Learning and Development (L&D) vendors, with middleware revenue in play 156. They can ship prebuilt connectors for Cornerstone and SAP SuccessFactors. Targets also include BambooHR and Salesforce. HubSpot and Microsoft Teams are in scope. Teams can set up GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and data residency for EU (European Union) markets, then run industry specific audits for regulated sectors such as financial services 9.
