US-based AI company CodeRabbit bags $60m series B

CodeRabbit, a provider of AI-powered code review tools, has raised US$60 million in a series B funding round led by Scale Venture Partners, with participation from NVentures and existing investors.

This brings the company’s total capital raised to US$88 million.

Its platform is now used on 2 million repositories and has reviewed 13 million pull requests, making it the most installed AI app on GitHub and GitLab.

The company also announced CodeRabbit CLI, a command-line tool that integrates AI code reviews into developer workflows and supports coding agents such as Claude Code and Gemini.

The new funding will be used to accelerate product development, support open source projects, and expand hiring globally.

Founded to automate code review processes, CodeRabbit helps developers identify bugs and enforce best practices as AI-generated code increases.
