US AI video platform Invideo acquires India’s GoBo Labs
Invideo, a global AI video creation platform headquartered in California, announced it has acquired GoBo Labs, an Indian AI creative studio, in February 2026.
GoBo Labs is known for its work in AI-driven filmmaking, including animatics, VFX, and storytelling, with clients such as Hindustan Times and Mahindra.
The acquisition aims to enhance Invideo’s creator platform by integrating GoBo’s AI filmmaking expertise to develop tools that support faster and more accessible storytelling.
GoBo Labs founder Hridaye Ashish Nagpal said the partnership will help expand AI’s role in creative amplification, not replacement.
Vishal Balsara, another co-founder, emphasized the opportunity to build tools that empower creators and shape future storytelling methods.
Invideo, which serves over 50 million users across 190 countries, reports that its platform produces more than 8 million videos monthly.
