UpGrad co-founder’s BorderPlus raises $7m after launch
Mayank Kumar, co-founder of upGrad, has secured 61.5 crore rupees (US$7 million) in the first funding round for his new talent mobility startup, BorderPlus.
The funding was announced just over a month after the startup’s launch.
Owl Ventures led the funding round, with participation from notable investors including CaratLane founder Mithun Sacheti, Oyo founder Ritesh Agarwal, Currae Healthcare director Apoorva Patni, and Flipkart founder Binny Bansal.
BorderPlus plans to use the funds to improve its platform.
It aims to establish new partnerships and explore expansion opportunities.
