Mayank Kumar, co-founder of Upgrad, and Ayush Mathur, former Oyo executive, launched BorderPlus to connect blue-collar workers with global job opportunities, starting in Germany’s healthcare sector before expanding to other industries.

The platform streamlines recruitment with technology offering language training and simplified migration, and plans to expand into hospitality, retail, teaching, construction, and logistics.

BorderPlus’s leadership includes Kevin Shah for demand, Praniti Lal and Radnyee Naik for training, and Subhendu Chandra for talent supply, with training programs spanning six to nine months in online, blended, and in-person formats at centers opening in Pune and later Mumbai.

The company will eventually expand beyond Germany to the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and parts of Asia and Europe, creating migration pathways for Indian workers.
