UK-backed PIDG exits Vietnamese e-motorbike maker Dat Bike
Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG), a UK-backed infrastructure investor, said it exited Dat Bike, a Vietnam-based electric motorbike maker, through InfraCo, its project development arm, after Dat Bike redeemed a convertible note.
InfraCo provided Dat Bike with a US$4 million convertible loan in 2024.
Dat Bike raised US$22 million in its series B round in September 2025, then increased the total to US$26 million at a second close in March 2026.
The round was co-led by Japan’s F.C.C. Co. Ltd. and Rebright Partners, with participation from investors including Jungle Ventures.
PIDG said its funding helped Dat Bike upgrade manufacturing, expand its sales network from four stores to 70, and create more than 200 jobs across construction, operations, and maintenance.
