UK-based Fluidstack seeks $200m for French AI supercomputer
Fluidstack, a UK-based AI cloud computing startup, is in talks to raise up to US$200 million in series A funding for expansion.
The company plans to build a 10 billion euro (US$10.5 billion) data center in France by 2026, powered primarily by nuclear energy.
Fluidstack has raised US$4.5 million so far and was mentioned in a 109 billion euro (US$114.5 billion) AI infrastructure initiative by President Macron.
Competing with firms like Coreweave, Fluidstack provides computing resources to AI businesses, including Mistral and Meta.
