Revolut will launch its payment platform in India later this year, marking its entry into the country’s digital payments market.

The London-based digital finance firm will initially offer the service to 350,000 waitlisted users, with broader access to follow.

Indian customers will be able to make both domestic and international payments through partnerships with the Unified Payments Interface and Visa.

The company is also targeting 20 million customers in India by 2030 as part of its global expansion plans.
