UK fintech firm Revolut eyes $115b secondary sale
London-based Revolut, a digital bank, is considering a secondary share sale that could value it at US$115 billion and let early investors and employees sell shares, according to people familiar with the matter.
A formal process could begin as soon as this month, though details have not been finalised and the company is still speaking with investors, the people said.
The valuation would be a sharp jump from the US$75 billion set in a November secondary sale backed by Coatue, Andreessen Horowitz, and Nvidia’s venture arm.
Chief executive Nik Storonsky has said an initial public offering is unlikely before 2028.
Regulators said Revolut was serving about 65 million customers across 40 countries by mid-2025.
In the UK, Revolut was still in a restricted mobilisation phase as of October 2025 after receiving conditional approval in July 2024. Its banking unit was allowed to hold only 50,000 pounds (US$67,000) in deposits while regulators reviewed its controls.
In the US, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency lists a national bank charter and federal deposit filing for Revolut Bank US, N.A., though public materials did not show a decision.
