Paymentology, a payments processing firm, said on October 19 that its issuing and real-time processing platform will support Philippine lender Asia United Bank’s HelloMoney e-wallet, mobile banking services, QR Ph capabilities, and digital transfer networks.

The partnership was announced in Bangkok.

HelloMoney is AUB’s app-based mobile wallet.

It supports QR payments in 60 international destinations through Alipay+; AUB previously announced cross-border scan-to-pay functionality.

Under Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ framework, QR Ph supports person-to-merchant payments and allows users to pay, transfer, and receive funds across participating financial institutions using one QR code.

The central bank’s digital payments roadmap covered 2020–2023.

It later reported that digital payments accounted for 64.7% of retail payments in the Philippines.

Separately, Paymentology cited Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas data showing that 62% of households made online financial transactions in 2025, up from 53% in 2024.
