UBTech, a Shenzhen-based robotics company, unveiled its Walker C1 humanoid robot at the fourth China International Supply Chain Expo in Beijing on June 22 and said the new model is designed for commercial service use.

The event also marked the debut of the expo’s upgraded official mascot, AI Linke, which uses a UBTech AI language model for multilingual communication.

UBTech said Walker C1 is a full-size service humanoid for hospitality, exhibitions, and visitor services. It is 165 cm tall, weighs 50 kg, and has 26 degrees of freedom.

An earlier Walker C model was used as an AI tour guide at Expo 2025 Osaka. UBTech also said its industrial Walker S series reached cumulative sales of 1,079 units in 2025.

UBTech’s revenue from full-size embodied AI humanoid robot products and solutions rose more than 22x to 821 million yuan (US$121 million) in 2025, accounting for 41.1% of its total revenue and becoming its largest business line.

The expo runs from June 22 to 26 in Beijing as an international supply-chain showcase.

In early 2026, China also released standards for humanoid robotics covering applications, safety, and ethics.
