UAE investment firm Shorooq launches $200m growth fund
UAE-based investment firm Shorooq has announced the launch of a US$200 million late-stage growth fund under its Qatalyst series, supported by Qatar Investment Authority and other investors, at Web Summit Qatar.
The fund aims to back companies with proven scale and clear exit strategies, primarily through IPOs, to address a gap in regional late-stage funding.
It will invest across sectors where innovation and demand intersect, targeting businesses with potential for regional and global leadership as the GCC enters a new technology cycle.
Founded in 2017, Shorooq runs venture capital, credit, and private equity, and now offers support from early-stage to pre-IPO funding.
