UAE gametech startup PlaysOut raises $7m seed funding
UAE-based gametech startup PlaysOut has raised US$7 million in a seed funding round, which values the company at US$70 million.
Investors in this round include OKX Ventures, KBW Ventures, and Pacific Century Group.
PlaysOut was founded in 2024 by Jassem Osseiran and Jimmie Jeremejev. The company offers platforms a mini-games engine and a software development kit (SDK) that provides access to a library of mini-games.
The startup plans to use the funds to expand its mini-game ecosystem. It also aims to establish strategic partnerships and target high-growth markets in the US, MENA, and Asia.
