Turkish mobile game startup Dream Games nets $2.5b in debt, equity
Dream Games, a Turkish mobile gaming studio known for Royal Match, has secured US$2.5 billion through a debt and equity deal.
CVC Capital Partners has become the company’s sole equity investor.
CVC confirmed the acquisition of shares from previous venture capital investors, although financial details were not disclosed.
Debt financing for the transaction was provided by funds managed by Blackstone Inc.
The deal values Dream Games at US$5 billion, an increase from its US$2.75 billion valuation in 2022, according to a source familiar with the matter.
