TSMC revenue jumps 30% as AI demand stays strong

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) said on June 10 that consolidated revenue for May 2026 rose 1.5% month on month and 30.1% year on year to NT$416.98 billion (US$13.2 billion).

The company reported the figures, with May revenue increasing from NT$410.73 billion (US$13 billion) in April and NT$320.52 billion (US$10.2 billion) a year earlier.

For January through May 2026, TSMC posted revenue of NT$1.96 trillion (US$62.1 billion), up 30.0% from NT$1.51 trillion (US$47.8 billion) in the same period in 2025.

The company had earlier forecast second-quarter revenue of US$39 billion to US$40.2 billion.

TSMC has said strong AI-related demand is a growth driver this year.

Its high-performance computing segment, which includes AI and fifth-generation mobile network applications, accounted for 61% of first-quarter revenue.
