TSMC said on September 10 that its August 2026 consolidated net revenue rose 53.3% year on year to about NT$514.81 billion (US$16.3 billion).

The figure was also up 10.1% from July, according to the chipmaker’s monthly revenue report.

Revenue for January through August reached NT$3.39 trillion (US$108 billion), up 39.3% from the same period in 2025.

It was not immediately clear whether TSMC’s August revenue was above or below analyst expectations.

The monthly revenue figure was not explicitly tied to chip-on-wafer-on-substrate (CoWoS) or other advanced packaging capacity for AI chips.
