United States President Donald Trump’s Stargate venture aims to use renewable energy technologies, such as solar and battery power, to develop infrastructure in the United States, including data centers for OpenAI.

This comes as he announced a US$100 billion collaboration involving SoftBank Group, OpenAI, and Oracle Corp.

Sources indicate that SoftBank’s SB Energy unit is expected to provide power generation and digital infrastructure for the project.

SB Energy has a track record of solar and battery projects, having completed installations that support major tech firms like Google.
