World Liberty Financial, a crypto project linked to the Trump family, has bought millions of dollars worth of specialized digital tokens.

These purchases coincide with the impending launch of the decentralized finance (DeFi) platform.

First announced in September, World Liberty Financial aims to offer lending and trading services through blockchain technology.

Initially, the project faced challenges in fundraising until crypto entrepreneur Justin Sun contributed US$30 million.
