World Liberty Financial, a Trump family-backed crypto company, is working with Hong Kong-based AI platform WorldClaw.

WorldClaw offers models from Chinese companies that the US has flagged over national security concerns.

WorldClaw lets users pay with World Liberty’s USD1 stablecoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Forty-three of WorldClaw’s 90 models came from Alibaba, Baidu, Z.ai, and other Chinese suppliers facing US scrutiny, though using those models in the US is generally legal.

The Pentagon lists Alibaba and Baidu as Chinese military companies, a designation that bars them from US defense contracts but does not broadly prohibit business in the US.

USD1, which WorldClaw accepts as payment, is a US dollar-pegged stablecoin issued by World Liberty and backed by Treasuries and cash equivalents.

Reserve yield accrues to the issuer, and the Trump family benefits through its ownership stake in World Liberty.

World Liberty said WorldClaw is independent and that US companies also offer Chinese and American AI models.

The practice is common enough that the top five models on OpenRouter over one recent month were Chinese.
