Trump-backed WLF, Spacecoin partner on satellite-powered DeFi
US-linked firm World Liberty Financial has partnered with Spacecoin to integrate decentralized finance with satellite-based internet.
The collaboration involves a token swap to connect Spacecoin’s satellite network, which aims to provide permissionless internet access to remote areas, with World Liberty’s US$3.2 billion stablecoin, USD1, and related financial services.
Spacecoin has launched three satellites to build a decentralized satellite network targeting underserved communities with limited broadband.
The partnership intends to facilitate payments, settlements, and financial transactions beyond traditional networks.
