Trump may impose 25% tariff on foreign-made iPhones sold in US

United States President Donald Trump has said that if iPhones sold in the US are manufactured outside the country, Apple could face a tariff of at least 25%, according to his Truth Social post.

This statement comes as the tech giant is expanding its manufacturing operations in countries such as India.

Trump said he had previously communicated his expectations to Apple CEO Tim Cook.

As of now, there has been no official response from Apple or Tim Cook regarding Trump’s comments.
