Trader profits $90m in Trump memecoin surge

A trader reportedly earned over US$90 million after President-elect Donald Trump announced the Trump memecoin on Truth Social.

Blockchain analysts revealed the trader exchanged 1.09 million USDC for 5.7 million Trump tokens on the Meteora market within two minutes of the launch.

The trader paid an US$85,000 fee for faster transactions through Solana infrastructure firm Jito and later sold some tokens for US$3.65 million.

Currently, the trader retains 4.62 million Trump tokens valued at US$87 million, reflecting the token’s rapid rise in value.
