Toku registers document for IPO, eyes January 22 debut
Singapore-based Toku, an AI-powered customer experience platform, has registered its offer document for a planned IPO on the Catalist board of the Singapore Exchange, marking the first SGX IPO of 2026.
The company plans to use proceeds from the IPO to invest in technology development, expand into new markets, strengthen its financial position, and support potential acquisitions.
The offering comprises 65 million shares at S$0.25 (US$0.19) each, split into 2 million public offer shares and 63 million placement shares.
The offer period runs from January 14 to January 20, with trading expected to start on January 22.
Toku, founded in 2017, provides enterprises with a platform for managing customer conversations across multiple digital channels and operates in 34 countries across Asia Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East and North Africa.
PrimePartners Corporate Finance is acting as sponsor, underwriter, and placement agent for the IPO, with CGS International Securities as co-placement agent.

🧠 Food for thought
Implications, context, and why it matters.
Toku’s IPO leans on vague AI claims while skipping unit economics
- The prospectus mentions AI for voice transcription plus sentiment analysis (software that detects tone and emotion in conversations) 1. Public filings omit unit economics (profitability per customer interaction). They also skip cost per conversation (the serving cost for each call or chat), gross margin per customer (revenue minus direct service costs for an average account), and customer acquisition costs (sales plus marketing spend to win a new customer). Without these, readers cannot tell if AI helps the business model.
- Net losses widened 24.5 percent while revenue grew 47.4 percent from 2022 to 2024 1. The business is not close to profit after seven years. That is a warning sign for IPO buyers and it raises doubts about a durable competitive moat (a defendable, long-term advantage over rivals).
