Toku launches visual tool to build speech AI

Toku, a Singapore-based customer experience software company listed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX), launched Makimoto Flows on October 21.

The visual tool lets developers build and test speech AI pipelines on recorded calls, with all processing staying in Singapore.

Developers can connect transcription, summarization, and call-tagging blocks on a single canvas, then export the workflow as runnable Python code.

Toku said the tagging block classifies calls across seven categories, including customer sentiment.

Flows expands Makimoto, Toku’s open-source conversational AI initiative, which the company introduced in April 2026.

It follows the release of the Kawa application programming interface (API) in July, and summarization and tagging endpoints in September.

Toku said developers can use Flows by creating a free account, which includes 1,000 free minutes.
