Singapore-listed Toku, a customer experience software company based in Singapore, said its United Arab Emirates (UAE) subsidiary, Toku Technology L.L.C., will host its platform on Core42 Sovereign Enabled Public Cloud in the UAE.

The companies marked the agreement at a signing ceremony in Abu Dhabi on October 2.

It is intended to help public-sector and regulated customers meet data residency requirements.

Core42, a G42 company that provides sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure in the UAE, said Toku has begun moving its platform to Core42’s cloud.

Toku said the setup will support public-sector bodies and regulated enterprises in the UAE that need customer interactions, recordings, and platform data to stay in the country and under local jurisdiction.

Toku said it will draw on its experience from a contact center deployment for Singapore’s Inland Revenue Authority as it pursues public-sector tenders with partners in the region.
