TNGlobal, a pan-Asia tech media platform formerly known as TechNode Global, said on August 4 that it acquired Hong Kong-based publisher Jumpstart Media.

Jumpstart will continue operating under its existing brand and editorial identity.

TNGlobal links China and Asia-Pacific markets through news, events, and cross-border business services.

The deal follows an earlier regional push. In 2021, TNGlobal raised US$1 million to support wider Asia-Pacific expansion.

Beyond its magazine, Jumpstart runs programs such as Jumpstart Kids and Jumpstart Academy. On LinkedIn, Jumpstart Media described Jumpstart Magazine as Asia-Pacific’s only print startup and tech magazine.

The acquisition comes as Hong Kong’s startup ecosystem grew 11% to 5,221 startups in 2025, according to survey data cited by Ocorian.
