TikTok held its first Creator Networks Global Summit in Bangkok on September 15, drawing more than 1,000 Creator Network leaders, partners, and others in the industry.

At the event, it introduced Live Bax, an AI-powered business assistant in Live Backstage, and released a global white paper on its livestream creator ecosystem.

TikTok said more than 240 million creators went Live globally in 2025.

It also said more than 21,000 Creator Networks support 4.7 million Live creators.

The company said Creator Networks are independent third-party businesses that help creators with training, operations, and other support.

TikTok added that Southeast Asia accounts for about 25% of these networks and one-third of the creators they support.

TikTok’s new tools build on its existing Live business, in which viewers can send gifts during broadcasts.

The company also introduced paid Live subscriptions in 2022.
