Thunes, a global B2B payment infrastructure platform, announced that it has closed a Series C funding round of over $60 million. The round was led by Marshall Wace, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners and 01Fintech.

The funding will be used to expand Thunes’ next-generation payment system, which aims to enable instant, quick, and secure payments internationally. Since its Series B round, Thunes has quadrupled the reach of its mobile wallet network from 720 million to 3 billion accounts.
