‘The first’ AI clinical documentation firm launches in APAC

Docca, which describes itself as “the first AI clinical documentation company,” has announced its entry into the Asia-Pacific market.

This comes as the company launched pilot programs in clinics and schools in Australia while expanding its operations to Indonesia and Singapore.

American serial entrepreneur Carmen Benitez serves as Docca’s co-founder and CEO.

Benitez was part of the first batch of JFDI technology startup accelerator, affiliated with the Global Accelerator Network, as a startup founder. Prior to Docca, she founded Fetch Plus, a Singaporean social media company.

Docca aims to reduce the administrative burdens faced by healthcare professionals by improving clinical documentation processes.

Docca has also opened a pre-series A funding round with a target of US$1.5 million. This funding will support operations in the Asia-Pacific region, foster partnerships, and enhance features of its AI platform.
