Thailand’s Delta Electronics sees record August sales on AI demand
Delta Electronics reported record August sales of NT$47.9 billion (US$1.5 billion), up 5.4% from July and 26.7% year-on-year, driven by demand for AI-related products.
The Thailand-based company said its sales from January to August rose 24.6% year-on-year to NT$336.2 billion (US$10.42 billion).
Power management solutions and electronic components accounted for 52% of August sales, while infrastructure, automation, and transportation contributed 32%, 9%, and 5%, respectively.
Delta shares rose 8% on the Taiwan Stock Exchange after the announcement.
