Thailand’s Delta Electronics hits $30, market cap reaches $78b
Delta Electronics’ stock rose to a record NT$907 (US$30.00) on September 23, pushing its market capitalization to NT$2.4 trillion (US$78 billion) and making it the third-largest company on Taiwan’s main board.
The Taipei-based firm, which produces power electronics and cooling systems, outpaced local rival MediaTek but remains behind Hon Hai Precision Industry and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co in market value.
Delta’s shares have climbed over 110% since the start of the year, compared to a 12.4% rise in the broader market, according to Taiwan Stock Exchange data.
Analysts cite the surge to strong demand for AI server power and data center infrastructure, as increased adoption of AI drives needs for advanced power supply and cooling solutions.
Other Taiwanese companies in the sector, such as Lite-On Technology and Auras Technology, have also seen share prices rise amid this trend.
Delta’s growing presence in AI-related hardware continues to draw investor interest.
