Tesla launches cheaper Cybertruck model in US

Tesla has introduced a lower-priced version of its Cybertruck in the US, with a starting price of US$59,990 for the dual-motor all-wheel-drive model, making it the company’s most affordable Cybertruck to date.

The company also reduced the price of its higher-end Cyberbeast model from US$114,990 to US$99,990.

The price cut appears to coincide with the discontinuation of the “Luxe Package,” which included features like supervised full self-driving and free Supercharger access.

Tesla previously added this package to the lineup in August last year when it increased the vehicle’s price.

The company has not changed the prices of other Cybertruck variants.

Price reductions have become part of Tesla’s strategy for 2026, aimed at attracting more cost-conscious buyers ahead of the launch of new mass-market vehicles.
