Tesla to launch EVs in Saudi Arabia

Tesla plans to launch its electric vehicles in Saudi Arabia, the largest economy in the Gulf region.

The company will host an event on Apr. 10 to showcase its EV lineup, including demonstrations of its Cybercab autonomous driving technology and Optimus humanoid robot.

Despite its ambitions, Saudi Arabia presents a challenging market for Tesla.

Electric vehicles make up just over 1% of total car sales, according to a September report by PwC.
