Tencent Holdings said in a filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that it repurchased 235,000 shares on September 10 at HK$425.20 (US$54) to HK$430.20 (US$55) each, for about HK$100 million (US$12.7 million).

Tencent’s stock closed at HK$425.60 (US$54) that day, down 1.94%.

Since August 17, Tencent has repurchased shares for 19 consecutive trading days.

Over that period, it bought back 8.776 million shares for a total of HK$3.907 billion (US$498 million), while the stock fell 3.27%.

So far this year, Tencent has made 72 repurchases, totalling 62.6597 million shares for HK$30.035 billion (US$3.83 billion).
