Tencent used the World AI Conference 2026 in Shanghai to launch Tencent Cloud’s Agent Development Platform (ADP) 4.0 globally, open its WorkBuddy app to individual users.

The company also introduce its Hy-Embodied models, TairosAgent framework, and an upgraded Tairos platform. Tencent said the embodied AI tools had been tested for retail guidance, visitor assistance, and eldercare.

ADP is Tencent Cloud’s enterprise platform to build AI agents and automate workflows. Tencent has previously positioned the platform for customer service, marketing, inventory management, and research.

Tencent said ADP 4.0 supports integrations with Line, Telegram, and Google Workspace, as well as automatic language adaptation and custom time-zone scheduling.

WorkBuddy had previously targeted professionals and workplace users as an AI workspace. Tencent said the product was already among China’s most widely used productivity agent tools before the standalone launch on iOS, Android, and HarmonyOS.
