Tencent Cloud said on July 15 that it had formed a partnership with RoboScience Machine Science, a China-based embodied intelligence company, to support robot research and development, training, and delivery with cloud and AI infrastructure.

The companies said the cooperation covers four areas.

These include cloud computing and computing power, large models and AI capabilities, audio, video, and perception data, and the Internet of Things (IoT) and device coordination.

They said they aimed to build an embodied intelligence cloud-and-AI foundation and jointly create a cloud-based EaaS, or Embodied-AI-as-a-Service, offering.

RoboScience was founded in 2024 and develops cross-embodiment AI for robot manipulation, including a Manipulation Foundation Model launched in 2024.

According to Preqin, RoboScience also licenses models to robotics manufacturers and automation companies.

Preqin lists 01VC, JD.com, and China Merchants Venture Investment Management as investors.

The partnership adds to Tencent Cloud’s robotics push.

In February 2026, the company announced a cloud-edge embodied AI partnership with IO-AI and said it served more than 40 embodied intelligence companies in China.
