Tencent Cloud said on September 22 it had partnered with Boost, a Malaysia-based fintech and digital bank operator, to support Boost’s digital transformation and innovation efforts in Malaysia and Indonesia.

The partnership will focus on cloud infrastructure, AI, and super app technology.

Tencent Cloud said it would provide infrastructure-as-a-service capabilities in both markets.

Boost said it plans to use Tencent Cloud Super App as a Service to improve customer experience and bring multiple financial services into a single app.

Boost also said it would work with Tencent Cloud on its AI development roadmap, including co-creating products and using Tencent Cloud’s existing products.

The companies did not disclose financial terms.
