Tencent Cloud said on July 20 that it partnered with Rockstreamer Private Limited, a Bangladesh-based digital entertainment technology company, to provide cloud, AI, content delivery network, and over-the-top services in Bangladesh and other emerging markets.

The first project is Binge+, the official OTT platform Rockstreamer developed and operates for Robi Axiata PLC, a Bangladesh telecom operator.

The companies said it runs on Tencent Cloud and supports Android, iOS, web, smart TVs, and operator apps.

They added that it streamed live global sporting events to millions in Bangladesh during a 2026 global football tournament.

Binge was launched in 2020 by Robi Axiata subsidiary RedDot Digital as an OTT service with more than 140 live TV channels.

The deal comes as Bangladesh operators deepen OTT bundling. The country’s mobile telecom market is estimated to reach US$2.83 billion in 2026, while OTT video subscriptions doubled in 2024.
