Tenable to acquire Israeli cybersecurity startup for $150m

Tenable, a Nasdaq-listed cybersecurity firm, has announced plans to acquire the Israeli company Vulcan Cyber for approximately US$150 million.

The acquisition is expected to be finalized in the first quarter of 2025, pending customary closing conditions.

Vulcan Cyber, founded in 2018, specializes in cybersecurity services and has raised US$55 million to date from various investors, including Maor Investments, Ten Eleven Ventures, Dawn Capital, Wipro Ventures, and YL Ventures.

The purchase price includes cash held by Vulcan Cyber and payments to employees.
