Temasek leads PhysicsX’s $300m funding round
PhysicsX, a London-based startup that builds AI software for engineering design and manufacturing, has raised US$300 million in a series C round led by Singapore state investor Temasek at a roughly US$2.4 billion valuation.
Intrepid Growth Partners and M&G Catalyst joined as new investors, alongside existing backers including Nvidia and Applied Materials.
The company sells an AI engineering platform that combines AI-driven physics inference with numerical simulation to help manufacturers speed up design, testing, production, and operations.
The round follows a June 2025 series B and a November 2025 extension that brought total series B funding to more than US$155 million and a nearly US$1 billion valuation.
Temasek has said it invests across the AI value chain, including infrastructure companies.
CEO Jacomo Corbo said semiconductor companies would become PhysicsX’s largest customer segment by the end of the second quarter.
He added that the startup had a roughly six-month backlog of customer demand.
Customers include Applied Materials, Siemens AG, and Stellantis NV. Corbo said revenue would be close to US$50 million this year.
