Temasek Holdings is considering selling Element Materials Technology – a UK-based testing, inspection, and services company it acquired in 2022 for over US$7 billion – including debt.

Singapore’s state-linked investor is working with advisers to gauge interest from potential buyers, including strategic firms.

Following its acquisition by Temasek, Element expanded by purchasing National Technical Systems, a US-based testing firm specializing in aerospace and defense, in September 2022.

Temasek declined to comment on the potential sale, and Element has not responded to inquiries.
