Telegram has made its crypto wallet, TON Wallet, available to its 87 million users in the United States.

This wallet, built on the TON blockchain, is integrated directly into the Telegram app.

Previously, US users could not access this feature due to regulatory challenges.

The wallets were introduced globally in 2023, with over 100 million users activating them. This accounts for around 10% of Telegram’s 1 billion active users.

The TON blockchain currently processes around 334,000 transactions daily.
