Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), an India-based IT services and consulting firm, said in Hong Kong on May 28 that it had partnered with Mistral, a France-based AI company,

The company also became the first global systems integrator partner for Mistral Forge, the startup’s enterprise AI platform.

Forge lets enterprises build frontier AI models using proprietary knowledge and domain-specific data.

TCS said it would use Forge to help clients design, fine-tune, and deploy domain-specific AI systems for banking, financial services, and insurance, manufacturing, healthcare, and public-sector organizations across North America, the UK, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

TCS also plans to set up a dedicated Mistral Centre of Excellence. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Forge supports pre-training, post-training, and reinforcement learning workflows beyond a standard fine-tuning application programming interface.

Mistral also works with Accenture and Capgemini, but public materials reviewed do not mention Forge.
