HKTaxi, a taxi-hailing platform based in Hong Kong, will stop operations on April 1, 2025.

Founded in 2013, the company has informed users through its app and has started suspending accounts.

With over 70,000 registered drivers, HKTaxi has advised users to switch to the Uber app.

Users transitioning from HKTaxi to Uber will receive HK$100 (US$12.84) off their first five rides as part of this migration initiative.
