Tata Group is poised to acquire a majority stake in Pegatron’s sole iPhone manufacturing facility in the country, insiders report.

This deal involves creating a joint venture, with Tata holding 60% and taking charge of daily operations, while Pegatron retains a 40% stake and provides technical support.

This development follows Pegatron’s decision to downsize its Apple activities due to geopolitical tensions involving the United States and China.
