Australian healthtech startup nets $112m series C

Harrison.ai, a Sydney-based startup focused on AI-powered medical diagnostics, has secured AU$179 million (US$112 million) in its series C funding round.

This funding will support the company’s global expansion into markets such as the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and Asia Pacific.

The funding round was co-led by Aware Super, ECP Asset Management, and Horizons Ventures.

New investors in this round include the National Reconstruction Fund and Wollemi Capital Group. Returning investors, such as Alpha JWC Ventures and Blackbird Ventures, also participated.

Founded in 2018 by brothers Dr. Aengus Tran and Dimitry Tran, Harrison.ai develops AI tools for radiology and pathology diagnostics.
