Swiss-Indonesian agritech firm Koltiva unveils AI traceability pilot
Koltiva, a Swiss-Indonesian agritech firm operating in 94 countries, has launched an AI-powered traceability pilot with SUGATA PTE. LTD, a coffee and cocoa supplier in Aceh, Indonesia.
The project, part of the AI Singapore-led AIAP for Industry initiative, aims to automate ESG and compliance reporting, improving data accuracy and integrity across the supply chain.
The system will validate data, detect anomalies, and support responsible sourcing amid increasing global regulatory pressures such as the EU deforestation regulation and the US Food Safety Modernization Act.
The collaboration also focuses on enhancing field operations through real-time insights and predictive analytics for environmental and social performance.
SUGATA will implement full-farm mapping and sustainable practice training for producers.
Koltiva plans to expand AI solutions to improve transparency and resilience for smallholder farmers and agribusinesses worldwide.
