Delvitech, a Switzerland-based automated optical inspection company for electronics manufacturing, said it plans to open a manufacturing and technology facility in Bengaluru in the first quarter of 2027.

The company will initially invest US$10 million, as it expands in India.

The 65,000 sq ft facility will house precision machining, metrology, equipment integration, engineering, research and development, customer support, and demonstration functions.

Delvitech said total planned investment could reach US$25 million to US$30 million.

It added that the Bengaluru facility is expected to create 500 to 800 jobs over the next five years.

The company announced the plan as it presented its Horus, Aton, and Horus Dual Lane inspection systems at productronica India 2026 in Bengaluru.
